Job Title:    Customer Service Field Technician

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Proficiency in reading and understanding electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  • Experience in troubleshooting equipment, using schematics as a guide.
  • Experience in repairing equipment – welding a plus.
  • Answer incoming customer or dealer calls for service and parts assistance, including follow-up on orders taken.
  • Start up new balers on site at customer locations.
  • Travel to customer locations for service calls when required.
  • Represent American Baler Company professionally when on the phone and on site at customer locations.
  • Make own travel arrangements. A travel agent may assist.
  • Develop trip reports for all off-site travel.
  • Proficiency in Epicor ERP and Microsoft Office products.
